WHO IS OLLIE OLLERTON
Matthew "Ollie" Ollerton is a former UK Special Forces operator, bestselling author, and founding Directing Staff member of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Ollie's career began at 18 when he joined the Royal Marine Commandos, serving operationally in Northern Ireland and Iraq. After completing a gruelling six-month selection process — one of just seven candidates to pass from an original 250 — he joined the Special Boat Service (SBS), where he spent six years on missions spanning counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, homeland security, and humanitarian operations. He also trained as a combat frogman and submersible pilot.
